fruitcore robotics underlines its role as a pioneer of intelligent robotics and automation solutions with new developments at automatica 2023. fruitcore robotics uses the trade fair to present Digital Robot HORST1000 to a large international trade audience for the first time. In addition, the new HORST operating system supported by artificial intelligence will be presented.
Under the motto "Hello. Smart Production." the Constance-based company will be showcasing its innovations in the field of "Digitization and AI" at booth 301 in hall B4, one of the focus topics of the leading trade fair for intelligent automation and robotics, which opens its doors in Munich from June 27 to 30.
The innovations from fruitcore robotics set the course for seamless robot integration into industrial processes. They deliver solutions that are urgently needed in the face of today's challenges such as competitiveness and skills shortages.
With HORST1000, the latest digital robot in the industrial robot family, industrial processes such as loading and unloading machines are significantly optimized. This is made possible by technological innovations, advanced software and standardized interfaces and connectivity, and ensures more efficient production. "Our intelligent industrial robots are designed to offer our customers the best return on investment in the robotics market," says Jens Riegger, Managing Director of fruitcore robotics.
The patented robot gearbox was further developed in HORST1000 through the use of a machine learning algorithm, which significantly improved performance features such as payload, range and working space. The new all-rounder has a payload of up to 8 kilograms and a reach of 1,018 millimeters.
The three-dimensional workspace of HORST1000 is particularly noteworthy: it has increased by 40% compared to HORST900, allowing 50% larger trays to be processed. From the base, HORST1000 can move around 230 millimeters further forward than its predecessor, which corresponds to a 43% longer linear path. This allows customers to enter machines more easily.
Higher acceleration values of the individual axes in the nominal load range also ensure shorter cycle times. In a classic pick & place process, this improves the cycle time by up to 20%. In addition, the maximum payload of 8 kilograms also allows the use of heavy tools and complex multiple gripper systems.
Parallel to the presentation of HORST1000, fruitcore robotics will present its new AI-supported operating system at automatica 2023. It offers a wide range of digital services and helps to further increase the benefits of intelligent industrial robots. The exact details will be revealed at the trade fair. "Only this much can be revealed," says Patrick Heimburger, Managing Director of fruitcore robotics.
"Our new operating system incorporates the most advanced technology and deep integration of artificial intelligence. It sets new standards for the rapid integration of industrial robots into processes such as machine loading and unloading, quality control, part separation, or adhesive and sealant application."
