- Remove the casing. To do this, use a 2.5 mm Allen key to carefully loosen all panel screws and remove the panel.
Lift the fuselage board slightly when removing the fairing. - Disconnect all plug connections of the defective motor driver. Check that all cables and connections are correctly labeled so that you can connect the new motor driver correctly later.
To disconnect the plug connections, carefully pull out the latch or the plug.
Do not use excessive force to avoid damage. - Use a TX10 screwdriver to loosen the fixing screw of the motor driver. Hold the motor driver firmly to avoid damaging it or dropping it.
- Carefully remove the defective motor driver from the slot on the distributor board.
- Insert the new motor driver into the slot and secure it with the fastening screw. Tighten the screw hand-tight to avoid damaging the driver.
- Connect all plug connections to the new motor driver. Check once again that all cables and connections are correctly labeled and connected. Make sure that the plugs are pushed all the way into the sockets to ensure a tight and secure fit.
